Exploring Myrtle Beach, South Carolina!

Views of the Ellington golf course.

Our team recently traveled to Myrtle Beach and while there we made sure to take some time to enjoy all that this popular vacation destination has to offer. We took the time to be tourists – checking out Broadway at the Beach (highly recommended!) and enjoying a nice meal at the Tupelo Honey Café in The Market Commons. I also spent time visiting several resort properties and thought (with summer just around the corner!) it might be a good time to feature some of the wonderful Myrtle Beach properties that are a part of our VacationCondos.com family. Join me as we explore Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and some of our most popular vacation properties available year-round to travelers!

Accommodations at the Ellington.

The first stop on my property tour was the Ellington at Wachesaw Plantation East Resort in Murrells Inlet, located just South from Myrtle Beach and all the action. If you’re looking for a quieter and more relaxing beach vacation, the Ellington is the perfect place for you! The former fishing village of Murrells Inlet offers pristine beaches, world class golf courses and the best in southern hospitality! This resort is located on the Wachesaw Plantation East Golf Course, which is perfect for all skill levels. When you’re ready to hit the beach, you can use your complimentary Huntington Beach State Park pass, provided to guests at check-in. Condo units range in size offering one, two and three-bedroom accommodations – perfect for traveling with the whole family or a group of friends! The resort may not be on the beach, but at the Ellington you’ll enjoy the best of both worlds – a relaxing South Carolina vacation and the excitement of Myrtle Beach.

Up next we’re heading to our beach front locations!

A room with a view at Sandpebble!

Sandpebble Beach Club is located in Surfside Beach, also just south of Myrtle. When visiting Sandpebble, I must say my favorite part was the style of the units and the building itself. This beach front property does not stand as large as some of the other high rises just down the road, but that’s part of what makes it the perfect vacation spot – you feel at home and relaxed as soon as you pull in! Once inside each unit, the relaxing vibes carry through. These two-bedroom units have been recently renovated and boast beautiful ocean views and bright, updated, beachy décor. Each unit has a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living area and a large private balcony – perfect for your morning coffee!

A spacious kitchen, living and dining area at Sea Mystique.

My next stop was Sea Mystique in Garden City. Much like Sandpebble, Sea Mystique has a very homey feel and is in a quieter, residential area. Featuring similar décor, these units have also recently been renovated and offer large, oceanfront balconies. Still only a few miles south from the Myrtle Beach entertainment, these two-bedroom units can comfortably sleep up to six guests. Enjoy their outdoor pool and grill out – beach side – with your family and friends!

Views from a BlueWater living room.

Last but definitely not least, I went to the BlueWater Resort in Myrtle Beach. Located among all the excitement, the BlueWater is a high rise, ocean front property that consists of two buildings. Their extensive list of amenities makes this resort a fan favorite! Their accommodations include studio, one and two-bedroom units (which can sleep up to 8!) with either a kitchenette or full kitchen and a private balcony. Spend most of your day on the beach or laying out by one of the many outdoor pools and beach side bar. There’s even a lazy river – perfect for the kids! The BlueWater is the perfect location for those that don’t want to miss a minute of both beach time and the Myrtle Beach attractions.

Relax by the BlueWater pool!
